The preparation timeline hinges on tooth condition and the number of teeth requiring treatment. Your dentist initiates by taking pre-treatment tooth molds and discussing your desired shade of white. Subsequently, your tooth is expertly reshaped to ensure optimal crown support. Afterward, a final mold is taken post-treatment. Dental implants uniquely promote bone growth due to their osteoconductive properties. This minimally invasive procedure involves implanting a titanium screw into the jaw, typically replacing multiple missing teeth where bridges aren't viable.
The Implant Procedure
The titanium screws, acting as stable anchors, are implanted into the jaw. These anchors facilitate support for replacement teeth, such as crowns, bridges, or secure dentures. Not only do they offer natural aesthetics, but they also ensure efficient functionality. For cases requiring few implants, the process may conclude within a week. Extensive implant work might necessitate a 3-month interval. Temporary dentures or crowns will be provided during this period.
Porcelain Veneers are ceramic shells bonded to your teeth's front surface. They effectively conceal imperfections like crookedness, chips, discoloration, and more.
Veneer application is relatively painless. In two visits, your dentist helps you select the veneer's appearance and shade. A thin layer of enamel is removed from the designated tooth, followed by an impression for veneer creation. A temporary veneer may be placed for protection. During the second visit, the veneer is bonded using a strong adhesive, receiving a final polish for seamless integration. With proper care, veneers can endure up to 20 years.
